I love working with brands and businesses to create content that is unique to them. This may be in the form of e-books, articles, video series, resources, digital or physical products, podcasts, workshop series, toys or more.
I’ve also acted an an Ambassador for brands where I believe there is alignment with our missions and we can together impact and educate children all over the world.

Examples of Projects and Brands I’ve Worked With:
- Busy Books Australia: I created and authored two interactive, therapeutic books for children and parents to improve communication at home. This also helped children who were on speech pathology waiting lists.
- My Creative Box: I contributed to 4 creative boxes to assist parents when doing art and craft with their children at home.

Channel 9 Helping Hands Program: I participated in filming a for this TV series, promoting speech pathology work and our charity work we engage in.

Student Association of Speech and Hearing (SASH)- The University of Sydney: I participated in a panel speaking with student about real world speech pathology and shared top tips for employment.

Curious Columbus: I contributed evidence based and child development input to help them create an educational activity for toddlers.

Inspire My Play: I created reels promoting their products and highlighting how I would use them to improve my children’s language skills. These reels attracted more than 48K view.

Rudie Nudie Designs: I wrote a blog for their website on how to help children love and learn through books.

Student Speech Pathology Society- University of Melbourne: I presented to speech pathology students on language difficulties and how to do therapy while on placements.

Hey there, I'm Emily.
I am an award-winning Speech Pathologist, business owner and author. I am the founder of the award-winning clinics, Speak About Speech Pathology, and internationally recognised Successful Speechie Academy.
I founded The Successful Speechie Academy global community in 2021 and since then my webinars, teaching and courses have positively impacted over a quarter of a million children and over thousands of therapists worldwide.
I am the author of two educational therapy books, with Busy Books Australia, and regularly collaborate with award-winning educational companies, such as My Creative Box and Curious Columbus.
I am also the co-founder and host of The Move.Talk.Thrive Podcast and have been featured on national news publications, including ABC Sydney and Channel 9.
I have received awards and recognition from prestigious organisations such as Australian Allied Health Awards and Women Sydney Women Awards.
I am a qualified speech therapist, studying at The University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Therapy).
Born and bred in Western Sydney, I swapped the country for coast and moved to the Central Coast in 2024. I currently live on the Coast with my husband and two beautiful daughters.

Busy Books Australia Founder
I first connected with Emily in June 2022 when I reached out to her about her joining the Busy Books Australia Panel of Experts as a Speech Pathologist. As part of an expert on the Panel she showcased how she used the Busy Books in her therapy sessions with her paediatric clients. What drew me to Emily initially was her confidence, knowledge as a speech pathologist, her professionalism and kindness. The content Emily provided for our Panel of Experts was excellent, allowing parents or other therapists to follower her examples and get more out of their Busy Books at home or in the clinic. I had hoped to work with Emily again one day.
Fast forward a few months and Emily reached out to me about the possibility of Busy Books Australia creating two Busy Books focused on expressive and receptive language development. I loved this idea and was very happy for Emily to have complete creative control over the content. Emily wrote and created the content for the two Busy Books called Let's Talk Together and Talk with Me. These two Busy Books were released in October 2023 and have been a huge hit with speech pathologists and parents of children with speech delays, neurodivergent children and neurotypical children also.
I loved working with Emily. Her knowledge and professionalism is of a very high standard, and she has a fantastic ability to create content that suits the style of the collaborating business. Emily's communication during and after the project was always excellent and if any reviews or edits were needed urgently they were always done in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend working with Emily in any capacity as I strongly believe that she would add value to whatever business she dedicated her time to.
